Numerical AnalysIs
From the prototype to serial production, from design to optimization or qualification – numerical simulations help to understand and to assess technical processes, dynamic phenomena, structural response, and lots more. This may significantly reduce costs during product development and qualification tests.
Our specialists are experienced in numerical analysis of structures subjected to static or highly dynamic loads, and in the application of various simulation tools. For this, NUMERICS provides engineering services like simulations as per order, cooperation in R&D projects, support and consultancy.
Software Development
Numerical analyses of dynamic processes as they occur in defense applications are commonly elaborate, complicated, require high computational power, and are time-consuming. Empirical or semi-empirical engineering models, but also physics based analytical models can provide a rapid predictive analysis. NUMERICS’ employees have years of experience in developing such models and in evaluating companion experiments, and have thereby gained the know-how which is necessary to provide our customers with adequate engineering solutions.
Besides the development of bespoke software solutions or engineering tools, there is also the possibility to customize our commercial software products.
Contract Research
Based on our long experiences in different fields of defense engineering we also take over complete parts of the product development process.
