Modular Analysis Package for Shaped Charge Analysis

MAP-SC (Modular Analysis Package – Shaped Charge) is a simulation software applicable to study the terminal ballistic effects of shaped charge jets. 

Applications

MAP-SC (Modular Analysis Package Shaped Charge) is a simulation software applicable to study the terminal ballistics of shaped charge jets. MAP-SC is designed to analyze the damage process caused by mono shaped charge (SC) or tandem shaped charges (TSC) warheads against ground-fixed and moving targets. The code delivers solutions to most problems in the field of shaped charge jet penetration and perforation of nonreactive and reactive targets. The most important code outputs are:

maximum depth of penetration (DoP)

crater / hole sizes in all impact conditions

stand-off curves

behind-armor debris (BAD) effects

vulnerability/lethality (V/L) analyses

Specifications MAP-SC

The basic version of MAP-SC comes with a Target Modeler (array of plates and blocks), a Jet File Input Interface (SPEED hydrocode, experimental data, analytical model), a Scenario Modeler including parametric and M/C analysis and the Jet Penetration Analysis Modules (XWAM engine).

MAP-SC can be enhanced by the following modules:

Licences MAP-SC

MAP-SC is for use on PC systems running under all current Windows operating systems. It can be licensed for one or more parallel applications in a network environment.
MAP-SC maybe leased on an annual basis or purchased as a paid-up license for perpetual use.
